The Forsyth County Central Library has been booked for a Big Rally on March 7, starting at 2 PM. Everyone is invited! Please save the date, event registration opens next week.
It is an unapologetically political event, sharing our stories and spreading the word about the growing wait list. Forsyth County is now at 792, up from 755 a year ago with no slots in sight. 250 have waited more than ten years. One story will describe a 17 year wait!
Also, mark your calendars for the NC Arc Conference, March 12-13, here in Winston Salem - a great chance to collaborate across agencies and join the movement. Our Waiver Action Team and the Arc are jointly "Rooted In Advocacy" and we look forward to meeting you personally. It is 2long2wait!
