Our Waiver Action Team has planned 3 activities to help get the word out about the Waiver "wait list". The activities we do in Forsyth County will be insignificant if others across the state don't duplicate our efforts. So far our website has at least 1 person signed up from 30 counties so 70 to go.
The first of 3 planned actions needed state-wide is getting someone from each county to submit a Guest Editorial or Letter to the Editor about the unacceptable wait time for a waiver. Here is a link to one published in the Winston-Salem Journal on 2/21/20 to serve as an example.
