Too long to wait!

Our son, Garrett West, Autistic, (22) has been on the Registry of Unmet needs since April 2008.

He lives with us (his guardians) and currently has some B3 funding for respite and supported employment for 8 hours each per week. We do private pay for a day program, Lindley Habilitation (College) in Clemmons…I guess as long as we can.  Garrett is very social and needs life coaching but can be an active member of the community with support which, of course, like all special needs parents…we will not be here one day to provide.  That is the unknown and long term concern for the special needs community.
